Hi-Tech Protection Plan — Past Customer Outreach Scripts
Date: 2026-04-27
Purpose: give Dad ready-to-review scripts for offering a Security System Health Check and monthly Protection Plan to past Hi-Tech customers.

Core Angle
Do not lead with “monthly plan.” Lead with the problem:
A security system can look fine until you need it — then you find out a camera was offline, the recorder stopped, the app login broke, or an old employee still has access.
Then offer the easy first step:
We’re offering a Security System Health Check for past customers.

Short Text Message
Hi, this is Hi-Tech Security Solutions. We’re checking in with past customers because a lot of camera/alarm systems look fine until something happens — then people find out a camera was offline, the recorder stopped, or remote viewing quit working.
We’re offering a Security System Health Check to verify cameras, recording, remote access, and basic security settings. Want us to take a look at yours?

Short Business Text
Hi, this is Hi-Tech Security Solutions. Quick check-in: when was the last time your cameras/recorder/access system were actually tested?
We’re offering a Security System Health Check for past customers — cameras online, recording working, remote access working, storage checked, and any obvious blind spots noted.
Want us to schedule one for your business?

Phone Script
Hey, this is [Name] with Hi-Tech Security Solutions. We’re reaching out to past customers because we’ve seen a common problem: camera and alarm systems often look fine day to day, but when something happens, people discover the recorder stopped, remote viewing broke, or a camera has been offline for weeks.
We’re offering a Security System Health Check where we verify the basics: cameras online, recording/storage, remote app access, obvious blind spots, and any access-control or alarm issues if your system has those.
If you want ongoing peace of mind after that, we also have monthly Protection Plans, but the health check is the easy first step.
Would you like us to schedule a time to check your system?
—
Follow-Up If They Ask “How Much?”
For a typical home, the health check usually starts around $99–$149 depending on the system.
For a small business, it usually starts around $199–$349, depending on how many cameras, doors, and devices we’re checking.
If you decide to go on a monthly Protection Plan afterward, we can credit part of that health check toward the plan.
—
Follow-Up If They Say “Everything Works”
That’s good — and that’s exactly what we want to confirm. The issue is that many camera systems fail silently. You may not know there’s a problem until you need footage.
The check is just a practical way to make sure the system is actually recording and accessible before something happens.
—
Follow-Up If They Say “Not Right Now”
No problem. Just keep this in mind: if anything changes with your cameras, alarm, remote viewing, Wi-Fi, or access control, call/text us at 216-233-8544.
We can also do a one-time checkup before vacations, busy seasons, employee changes, or after network/internet changes.

Follow-Up If They Are Interested In Monthly Support
We’re calling it the Hi-Tech Protection Plan. The idea is simple: instead of waiting until there’s a problem, we check and support the system on a schedule.
For businesses, the common plans are:
- Business Essential — $99/month: quarterly remote checks where possible, annual onsite inspection, priority scheduling, basic camera/recorder/access review.
- Business Pro — $199/month: monthly remote check where possible, two onsite inspections per year, limited access-control admin, incident footage help, and annual security condition notes.
For homes, plans start at $29/month.

Best Customers To Contact First
Start with:
- Businesses with camera systems
- Businesses with access control or employee codes/fobs
- Restaurants, bars, warehouses, offices, churches, property managers
- Customers who have called before for app/remote-viewing support
- Customers with systems older than 3 years
- Customers where missing footage would be a serious problem

Notes Before Using Publicly
Dad should confirm:
- Final health check price ranges
- Whether to credit health-check cost toward first months of plan
- Whether residential outreach should be text-first or call-first
- Exact monthly plan names/prices
- Any legal/contract wording around “monitoring,” “priority,” and emergency response
