Listen: Roofing Lead Leak Checklist Walkthrough

Short Microsoft Andrew voiceover explaining what this page is for and how to use it in the WeatherSeal Lead Rescue packet.

Roofing Lead Leak Checklist

Status: lead magnet / sales conversation draft. No public posting until Dad approves.

Headline

Roofers do not always need more leads first. A lot of money is already leaking from calls, forms, old estimates, and missed follow-up.

Use this checklist to find the leaks before spending more on ads.

The 15-Point Leak Check

Score each item:

  • 0 = not handled
  • 1 = partly handled
  • 2 = handled cleanly
  • Missed calls get a fast text/callback path.
  • After-hours calls still capture name, address, job type, urgency, and best callback time.
  • Storm/leak language is escalated to a human quickly.
  • Website forms are seen within 15 minutes during business hours.
  • Quote forms ask enough to route the lead, but not so much that homeowners quit.
  • Phone leads and form leads land in one visible place.
  • Every new lead has a next action.
  • Every new lead has an owner.
  • Every new lead has a deadline.
  • Estimates have follow-up tasks after 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, and 14 days.
  • Old unsold estimates can be reactivated without sounding pushy.
  • No-show appointments get a polite rescue sequence.
  • Warranty/service calls are not accidentally treated like new sales leads.
  • Completed jobs trigger review requests and proof/photo collection.
  • The owner can see what is stuck today without digging through texts, email, and voicemail.

Score

  • 0-10: Leads are probably leaking every week.
  • 11-20: The business has pieces working, but follow-up is still fragile.
  • 21-30: Strong base. The opportunity is automation, reporting, and cleaner handoffs.

Fastest Fix

Start with one worker:

Missed Call + Estimate Follow-Up Worker

It does not replace the sales team. It catches repetitive intake and follow-up so the team can spend more time on valuable homeowner conversations.

Demo Offer

We can run a Lead Rescue Blueprint and show a simple demo board with five lead cards:

  • missed after-hours call
  • urgent storm/roofing lead
  • website quote form
  • old unsold estimate
  • warranty/service issue

Each card gets the thing most contractors are missing: next action, owner, and deadline.
